COVID impact on Year 12 students

We conducted a nationally representative survey of young Australians currently studying year 12 to understand the impacts of COVID-19 and identify supports required to help this cohort. The research study informed the strategy for the You Got This initiative launched by not-for-profit DrinkWise in which well-known Australians offer messages of support for Year 12 students.
Positive video messages were distributed via social media channels and hosted on the YouGotThis.org.au website, including messages from Australian Test Cricket Captain Tim Paine, Prime Minister Scott Morrison, actor Cate Blanchett and young influencers. The campaign generated over $1.5million in media value, was underpinned by research insights.
